  • How much does the training cost?
    We are keen to tailor our services to meet the needs of your setting and group. Our training ranges from: 1-hour taster sessions 3-hour workshops 1-2 day events Cost varies from £200 - £1,200 depending on the number of participants and what your needs are. As part of the training we offer: Resources Ongoing support Practical training Theory and Knowledge
  • Where is training available?
    Training can be delivered both online and in person. Our team is happy to travel to your care home, community group or school. How many trainees will this be for? Due to the interactive nature of our training, we aim for no more than 25 attendees when working over Zoom. Delivering the training in person we have run sessions with 30-35 attendees.

  • How do I find my local connection?
    You can visit the Map of Connection page to see who else in your local area is working in this exciting, intergenerational way! If you would like to connect with a local group, please email hello@togetherwithmusic.org.uk and we will support you in making an introduction! If you can’t see a connection on the map, please reach out to hello@togetherwithmusic.org.uk and we can help you find a local link and establish an intergenerational connection.
  • What happens with our current connections?
    It is now time to bring these connections to life! This year Together with Music are focused on training and projects to support our members in really embedding these wonderful, intergenerational connections into the school, care home and community! You can see our project call out, this is the page we will add announcements about areas we have funding and are looking for groups to engage with!   • How do I join in the Live sessions?
    We host fortnightly LIVE! sessions which are hosted on Zoom. You can view the upcoming sessions here! You will also be sent an email * with a link to the eventbrite and Zoom meeting. So keep an eye out for anything from hello@togetherwithmusic.org.uk * make sure to check your spam folder!
  • Are the Live sessions free?
    Yes! Our LIVE! Sessions are completely free.
  • Can I join as an individual or only as a member of a community group or care home?
    At present, you can only sign up if you are a group. If you are an individual that would like to get involved, please email hello@togetherwithmusic.org.uk and one of our TwM Connectors will arrange a time to chat to you.
  • How do I encourage an already established local community connection to be a part of this project?
    We want to inspire those existing and new connections to be a part of ‘Together with Music’. The Member's Zone will offer an abundance of resources, toolkits, training, support, fundraising guidance and local opportunities. The resources are designed to help support sustainable connections.
  • Can we change our group point of contact should the person leave or for any other reason once we sign up?
    Please note that you will not be able to change the email login you used to register your organisation, however, you will be able to update your password should you forget it via the login page. If you need to change the group point of contact please get in touch with us at hello@togetherwithmusic.org.uk Click here to update your group profile!
  • What format and file size do we 'Share our Song' with?
    Once you have recorded your song, please save the video file, and then upload and 'Share Your Song!' here. The maximum video file size that can be uploaded is 1000MB, with a recommended resolution of 920 x 1080px. You can also upload your videos in the following formats: AVI, MPEG, MPG, MPE, MP4, MKV, WebM, MOV, OGV, VOB, M4V, 3GP, DivX, XVID, MXF, WMV, M1V, FLV, M2TS Once uploaded, your video is automatically transcoded into MPEG4 (containing the H.264 codec).
  • Do you have safeguarding and GDPR in place?
